A Tale of Two Runners

Over 100 Girls on the Run 5K events across the country took place this year as the culmination of the 12-week after school program.

The ninth annual New Balance Girls on the Run 5K will take place on Sunday May 22nd at 9 AM at Hartwood Acres. The new venue will provide a scenic yet challenging one-loop course starting near the concert stage at Hartwood.

Nearly 800 Girls on the Run participants from around southwestern Pennsylvania will complete the 12-week character development program by running the 5K.
